Eligibility Criteria of Fully Funded Fellowship in Hong Kong 2024

• Candidates from all over the world can apply.
• Candidates must be newly enrolled PhD students.
• If an applicant is not admitted to a brand new full-time PhD program, they are not eligible to apply for this fellowship.
• Students can choose the university of their interest from the above list of universities.
• Candidates must demonstrate that they have an English language university education.
• Candidate must show English Proficiency Certificate if previous medium of education is not English.

Benifits of Fully Funded phD Fellowship in Hong Kong 2024

• An amount of HK$13,800 will be provided to selected candidates as an annual travel allowance for research relocation and conferences.
• For the initial fellowship program, an application is not required.
• No work experience is required to apply for this fellowship.
• If the PhD takes more than three years, the university will provide additional support.
• Candidates will be awarded with an annual allowance of HK$331,200

• To be considered for a fellowship, candidates must first submit their applications through the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme Electronic System (HKPFSES).
• Applicants will be given a reference number when their initial application is successfully submitted.
• Candidates must submit applications to the institutions of their choice (up to 2 universities and 2 programs depending on priority), and they must provide the reference number provided on the university application form.
• Candidates' applications will be reviewed regularly and they will not be considered for this fellowship if they fail to include the HKPFSES reference number in their application.
